The Phnom Penh International Film Festival is an annual, independent, un-sponsored and non-competitive film festival held every year in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and is organized by Ramon Stoppelenburg. This 2016 edition is our 3rd year.

This year’s edition features a total of 38 films, screened over a period of 10 days.

Our goal is to showcase new feature films, documentaries and shorts from different countries around the world and to inspire a growing Cambodian audience of movie lovers, that have been without a steady movie industry since the genocide in the 1970’s (which killed all art, cinema, culture and religion) and bring them the best of world cinema.

The official main venue of the festival is The Flicks 1 Community Movie House.
